Benefit for Daisie Hilborn

Event Description

Dear Community Friends,

We are coming  together as a community to ask for your support in providing assistance for the medical/family fund for Daisie Hilborn. She is a vibrant 14 year old girl who lives in Montgomery and was recently diagnosed with AML Leukemia. This is a rare cancer in children, therefore her treatment is aggressive. Texas Children’s informed her she will be in the hospital a minimum of 6 months with aggressive ongoing chemotherapy, red cell platelets, blood transfusions, spinal lumbar punctures on the mass in her spine as well as possible bone marrow transplants. This is devastating news to her and her family. You can only imagine the ongoing expenses treating this terrible disease.

 

A benefit to help her with medical/family expenses is scheduled for July 21, 2013 at Montgomery County Fairgrounds from 12pm-6pm. This is a family friendly benefit. We will be having live music such as Josh Ward Band who has kindly donated his time for Daisie's benefit, a silent auction, raffle drawings, food, drinks & fun. Come on out and support Daisie.

 

In order to help make the lines shorter and get an estimate of how much food we will need, we are pre-selling meal tickets for $10.00 each, the meal plates will be beef & chicken fajitas. We are also pre-selling $10 raffle tickets for  each. The prize will be a gift card tree, a Bushmaster 15 AR 15 or a Glock Model 23 .40 cal!
